What's New in Hivra

Uploading media saved in cloud storage previously meant downloading large video and image files onto your phone or computer first. That wasted local storage space and added unnecessary steps every time you wanted to create a post.

The composer now includes direct cloud import options for Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. You can browse your remote files using each provider's native picker, select your media, and import it straight into your post queue with live download progress.

The new cloud import shortcuts are available now under the media dropzone whenever you create a post in your dashboard.

Previously, if you deleted a video or post directly on a platform like YouTube or Instagram, it would often remain visible in your Hivra analytics. This could lead to "not found" errors when trying to view details, or simply clutter your dashboard with dead content that no longer exists.

Hivra now automatically detects when a post has been removed from a platform and hides it from your workspace. This cleanup happens during background metric syncs or the moment you try to view the insights for a post that was recently deleted.

• 🔄 Automatic recovery: If a post is unarchived or restored on the platform, Hivra will detect it and bring it back to your analytics during the next sync.

This cleanup is active across all supported platforms. You can see your updated, clutter-free data now in your analytics dashboard.

Now, whenever a new feature, improvement, or fix goes live, a compact NEW card appears above your workspace selector in the dashboard sidebar. You can glance at the headline and summary right where you work, or tap Learn more to jump straight to the full breakdown.

If you tapped Publish now or Schedule more than once — a slow connection, an eager click, or a double submit from your team — the composer could queue separate jobs for the same post, and every one of them published independently, sometimes posting the same content to the same accounts several times.

The composer now locks the Publish / Schedule button the moment you tap it, with a loading indicator, until the post is safely saved. On top of that, extra checks now make sure a post that already published, is already queued, or is mid-approval can never be re-queued or re-sent by a stray click or a flaky sync.

Previewing your edits in the media editor could stutter or visibly slow down, especially with larger video files, and after a while the sound could drift out of step with the picture.

Playback now runs smoothly even on demanding footage, and the sound acts as the steady reference that the picture follows, so audio and video stay lined up throughout.

Sharing a post to your Instagram Story used to only work for videos — if you were publishing a photo, the Story option was disabled.

Image posts to Instagram can now also go to your Story. Your feed photo may still be cropped to fit the feed grid, but the version sent to your Story keeps the photo's original shape instead of being cropped the same way.

• 📐 The Story copy is sized to fit without the feed's crop
• ⏰ Stories still expire after 24 hours, same as before

Comment and DM alerts in the notification bell used to look almost identical, so you had to read the preview text to know which one you were looking at.

Every notification row now carries a small tag next to the sender's name, so you can scan your notifications and immediately see what each one is.

Until now, the only way to know someone had sent you a new direct message was to open the Messages tab in Engagement and check.

The notification bell now surfaces new messages as they come in, showing who messaged you and a short preview. Clicking a notification opens that exact conversation. If several conversations have new messages at once, Hivra shows a single summary instead of flooding you with alerts.

When a caption was too long for a TikTok title, Hivra shortened it by counting visual characters. TikTok itself counts differently, so titles with emoji could end up longer than TikTok allows, and in some cases the cut landed right in the middle of an emoji, leaving a broken or invalid character at the end of the title.

Title trimming for both TikTok videos and photo posts now measures length the same way TikTok does, so limits line up correctly and emoji are never split. On photo posts, when a caption still needs to be shortened, Hivra now tries to cut at the end of the last full sentence that fits, instead of stopping at an arbitrary point.

Posting to X, syncing comments, refreshing analytics and checking follower counts all call X's API behind the scenes, and X charges for every one of those calls. Until now that activity was invisible, with no way to see how much was being used or any safeguard against it growing out of control.

Every paid plan now comes with a monthly X API budget, shared across your workspaces. A new usage card in Billing shows what you've used, what's left, and when it resets. As usage climbs, Hivra first lets you know (at 80%), then pauses only automatic background refreshes like analytics and follower counts (at 100%) while publishing and replies keep working, and finally pauses everything on X — publishing, replies, likes and deletes — until the next reset if usage reaches 130%. Your other platforms are never affected.
