Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about publishing, plans, teams, and getting started with Hivra.

Platforms & integrations

Hivra currently supports publishing to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and Threads. You connect each platform through Integrations using the platform's official authorization flow.

Additional platforms may be added in the future based on user demand. If there is a platform you need that is not listed, let the team know at support@hivra.app.

Connect official creator accounts for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, and Threads in Integrations. Only connected accounts appear in the Composer.

Hivra publishes through each platform's official authorization flows—the same secure connections you would use when posting natively, centralized in one workspace.

Disconnecting an account in Integrations removes Hivra's access to that platform, but it does not affect content already published. Posts that went live before you disconnected remain on the platform exactly as they were — Hivra does not delete them.

After disconnecting, Hivra can no longer publish new content to that account or sync new analytics and comments from it. Any scheduled posts that target the disconnected account will fail at their scheduled time. Reconnect the account when you are ready to resume publishing.

Publishing & Composer

Yes. Hivra lets you add many videos in one go and queue them as Shorts, Reels, and similar vertical formats, then cross-post to the platforms you’ve connected. It’s ideal if you produce content in batches and want to set up a long run of posts in a single session.

Yes. You can set future dates and times for your posts instead of publishing right away, so you can map out your calendar and keep a steady cadence across networks without logging in for every upload.

Hivra may process and temporarily store media as needed to deliver publishing, previews, and scheduling. See our Privacy Policy for categories of data, retention, and security practices.

Yes. Hivra lets you customize captions, hashtags, and other settings on a per-platform basis inside the Composer. When you select multiple destinations for a post, a per-platform drawer appears for each one, giving you a separate field to tailor the text before you publish or schedule.

By default, Hivra can pre-fill all platforms with the same caption so you are not starting from scratch on each one — just edit the platforms where you want something different.

Each platform enforces its own maximum caption length. Overrides in a platform drawer replace only that network's copy—the baseline remains for everyone else.

Not every surface accepts a custom thumbnail the same way. Hivra applies your selection everywhere the connected platform's API allows it.

Drafts are tied to the active workspace and stored locally in your browser for the Composer session, with Library visibility for jobs you have not finalized.

Autosave protects your edit state; the publish pipeline (Composer → Library → platforms) is the same whether you upload one video or a batch.

Content types

Yes. Although Hivra is optimized for short-form vertical video, you can also publish image and text posts to supported platforms. The Composer handles these content types when they are supported by the destination platform's API.

Keep in mind that some platforms have specific restrictions on text-only or image posts, so results may vary depending on your destinations.

Plans, billing & limits

Yes. You can start with a free trial and explore Hivra’s publishing and scheduling tools before choosing a paid plan.

Start Free Trial

The Free plan includes 5 publishes per month. This quota resets at the start of each billing month. Once you reach the limit, new publish and schedule requests will be held until the quota resets or you upgrade your plan.

If you need to publish more frequently, the Creator and Business plans offer unlimited uploads. You can upgrade at any time from Billing in your account settings.

Go to Plan & billing in your account settings to manage your subscription. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from there. When you cancel, your current plan remains active until the end of the billing cycle — you will not lose access immediately. At the end of the cycle, your workspace moves to the Free plan.

For duplicate charges or accidental purchases, see our Refund Policy. Other billing questions: support@hivra.app.

The free plan allows 1 workspace. Upgrade to creator or business for additional workspaces.

Comments & engagement

Yes. Hivra allows you to view, manage and respond to comments across all connected accounts from one unified inbox. No need to log into 6 different apps to engage with your community.

When new comments arrive, a badge appears on the Engagement nav item. Unread comments are highlighted inside the inbox until you view them.

Engagement requires Creator or higher. Free plan users can upgrade to unlock comment management across connected platforms.

Analytics

A few things can cause analytics to appear empty or incomplete:

  • Data lag: Metrics from platforms typically take a few minutes — and sometimes longer — to propagate after a post goes live. Wait a short while and use the manual refresh option if available.
  • Platform availability: Not all platforms expose the same metrics through their APIs. If a specific metric is missing for a particular platform, it may not be available through Hivra's integration for that network.
  • Connection health: Analytics syncing requires a healthy connection. If the account shows Attention in Integration Health, reconnect it so data can resume syncing.
  • Plan access: Analytics features are limited to paid plans. Check your current plan in Billing if a section appears locked.

Download analytics as CSV from the Analytics header when you need to slice numbers outside Hivra.

Metrics sync from each platform's insights API. Use manual refresh if you suspect drift after a major post.

Teams, workspaces & approvals

A seat is one person on your team. Free and Creator include 1 seat; Business includes 5. Extra seats are available as add-ons. One person across multiple workspaces under the same billing owner counts as a single seat.

Approvers can receive email when jobs are submitted; Members may be notified on approve/reject depending on notification settings.

Business workspaces support Admins and Members with different permissions. Publishing in one workspace never affects another.

Publishing approvals are available on the Creator and Business plans. When a workspace Member submits a post for publishing or scheduling, it enters an Awaiting approval state instead of going live immediately. The workspace Owner or an Admin with approval permissions can then review the post in the Library under the Approvals filter.

From there, the reviewer can approve the post (allowing it to publish or proceed to its scheduled time) or reject it (sending it back to the Member). Owners always have full publishing freedom within their own workspace and are never subject to approval gates.
